Service History

Over several years a quantity of Jack Barclay / HR Owen service records have been donated to the Hunt House Archives. These records have been sitting in boxes, unsorted for a number of years.

To date Shadow I, Shadow II, Silver Wraith II, Corniche, Camargue, T1 and T2 have been unpacked and catalogued and available to purchase.

Silver Spirit I-III, Silver Spur I-III, Silver Dawn (1990s), Phantom VI, Corniche II-IV, Mulsanne, Eight, Turbo R, Continentals, Brooklands and Azure are currently being sorted, shelved and catalogued, and will be available to purchase in due course.

Silver Seraph, Bentley Arnage and other post 1998 models are still to be unpacked. We also hold some service records from Hooper, SMAC and London Service Centre, these records vary considerably in size.

To find out if we hold any service records for your car please contact records@rrec.org.uk or +44 (0) 1327 811788.

The cost of service records will vary significantly as there can be anything from 1 - 100+ pages of paper.

DVLA V765 Application to register a vehicle under its original registration number

The Club is able to assist members in retrieving original UK registration numbers from the DVLA and has a high record of success.

This is a bureaucratic process, and it is essential that correct procedures are followed and relevant information provided.

For each application, there needs to be a documentary link between the vehicle and the registration number. This will usually be an old style log book or a certified copy of the original vehicle register. Documents such as these are ideal, as they link the chassis number to the original registration number.

A fee of £50 (inc. VAT) is payable to the Club for this service, whether the application is successful or not.
