Grand Tour to visit Windsor Castle on Sunday 19 September 2021

September, 15th 2021

On Sunday 19 September 2021, 20 classic cars belonging to members of the RREC - The International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts will continue their Grand Tour in Windsor with an escorted parade through the Great Park to the Copper Horse and proceed down the Long Walk and will park in an arc in front of Cambridge Gate, in front of the gates, overlooking the Long Walk by 1230pm.  The cars will be reviewed by Admiral Sir James Perowne Constable & Governor of Windsor Castle.

The Windsor leg of the Grand Tour is part of a series of RREC special events this year which are paying tribute to HRH Prince Philip who passed away in April this year aged 99.  This event in Windsor will be raising funds for the Prince Philip Trust Fund for Windsor and Maidenhead, a grant-giving trust, founded by the Duke of Edinburgh, that gives funds to charities and good causes that directly benefit the residents of the Royal Borough.

The cars will be available to view by the public from 1230pm-3pm at which time the parade of cars will leave through Park Street and proceed in convoy through Windsor town centre. There will be cars on display dating from 1930’s to the present day and include the following models:

  • 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental

  • 1937 Bentley 4 ¼

  • 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III

  • 1982 Rolls-Royce Corniche

  • 1997 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn

  • 2020 Bentley Mulsanne
