The Official Platinum Jubilee Edition

August, 25th 2022

As part of the RREC’s dedication to delivering the finest forms of information and news, royal publisher St James’s House is producing a one-off art book, entitled Strive for Perfection: The Official Platinum Jubilee Edition, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s accession to the throne. This elegantly designed publication will be one of the leading collectors pieces marking this unique landmark royal occasion.

In addition to celebrating the remarkable heritage of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, this prestigious book will document the historic relationship between The Queen, the Royal Family and these famous marques. It will also provide a beautifully illustrated overview of royal motoring from across the decades and around the world.

The histories of Rolls-Royce and royalty are richly intertwined, spanning countless major world events, royal occasions, and national celebrations and parades. Whenever The Queen or another member of the Royal Family travels on an official engagement, they are almost always conveyed in a Rolls-Royce or Bentley motor car. Indeed, the luxurious nature of these vehicles – themselves a byword for unparalleled quality and refinement – is itself a tangible illustration of the ties between the marques and royalty over the years.

Written by respected authors and experts, Strive for Perfection: The Official Platinum Jubilee Edition will feature a selection of luxury brands from around the world. The book will be distributed to the RREC’s 10,000 members and affiliates as a privately produced gift, and copies will also be made available to all Rolls-Royce and Bentley showrooms around the world. In total, up to 30,000 copies of this stunning publication will be made available worldwide.
